My 98 Buick Park Ave has a draw in it and NOBODY HAS FOUND THIS ISSUE !!! I
had a remote car starter about 2 yrs ago and all hell has broken loose.I have
since had this remote car starter removed. My interior lights go on at any
given time, DRIVING OR NOT DRIVING, the factory alarm goes off when It wants
to and the door locks lock when they want to. I`ve recently had to jumpstart
the car twice in 2 days .I`ve had a couple of auto electric guys look at it
and radio retailers too. INCLUDING THE INSTALLER OF THE REMOTE CAR
STARTER...Im at ends wit ..... HELP !!!!!

Basically you have to find to somebody who knows what they're doing,
and not too lazy to actually do it.
It means laying upside down under the dash for a while, and really
looking hard at the wiring. That means taking apart wires connected
with tape and wirenuts, and redoing all connections.
I've had a version of that in a couple cars I bought.
Locks locking/unlocking randomly.
My son fixed both by doing what I said. Think both were bad
aftermarket alarm wiring, but maybe one was bad aftermarket radio
wiring.
But he's done of lot of this type of work on cars. Always replacing
radios, and adding remote starters to cars.
He still had to go after one car twice before he got it right.
It's always been poor aftermarket work on the wires screwing things
up.
Not saying that's your problem, but it's a solid guess from what
you're said.

I would also add that, if there ever was an instance when buying the factory service manual was warranted -- this would be it. Because evidently you are planning on keeping the car -- so why not? And nowadays they're surprisingly cheap on eBay, and you can have them in a matter of a day or two. Be sure and get the set that includes the electrical schematics.
